Hi, I’m Hypermommy 

Okay, so my given name is Denise but I never use that online and try not to use it in real life.  Everyone knows me as Hypermommy.  Why?  Well, I have two wonderful kids — both all boy and then some.  And you’ve heard people called Type A?  Well, I’m Type AAA.  Which, of course, makes for an interesting marriage to my wonderful husband, King Charming, who is Type Z.  But he is marvelously understanding and lets me have free rein in most things.  And he has this incredible ability to make me feel totally free and totally protected all at the same time.  He’s really wonderful!

So where’d the name Designs by Crazy Diamond come from?  Well, remember this song — “Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun.  Shine on you crazy diamond.” — Pink Floyd. 
When I was younger I thought this song was about someone that had peaked too soon in life.  Maybe for others it is.  But nowadays I see it differently.  I believe the singer’s talking to someone who did shine like the sun when they were younger but that the singer believes can do it again.  And I believe I’m a crazy diamond and can shine like the sun again.

I’ve been doing digital scrapbooking since December of 2007.  I got into paper scrapping in about 2006 but once I discovered digital I was hooked.  I have such a great time making these pages and when it’s time to clean up, all I have to do is press a button.  I got into designing in May of 2007 and have had a good time learning and growing from that.  Let me take a moment to thank Melanie (By God’s Design) and Leaonna (BusyScrappin’) for all their help, encouragement, training and mentoring.  These ladies are fantastic!!!
