In case you’re new to brag books, they’re actually great.  You grab this little page, stick your photo in, print it out (it’s designed at 6″x4″) and put it in a photo book.  Then you stick that in your purse and any time you want to share some of your creations they’re right there in your purse.

Okay, everyone… today’s the day!  The opening of Ahhh Scrap’s website community and store.  We’re gonna have such a great time over there.  I’ve already started some games in the forum and hope you’ll come and spend a little time playing and chatting with us.

Okay, so I haven’t posted in a few days.  But I’ve been busy… there’s a new store opening up on Monday the 23d.  It’s called Ahhh Scrap (http://www.ahhhscrap.com) and I’ve been getting kits and other products ready for the store and trying to help out with some of the HTML too.

And while I was making this up I figured maybe I wasn’t the only one that hasn’t gotten around to getting a Father’s Day card.  So I’m offering it as a freebie quick page.

Yes, I have another freebie quick page for you.  But before I get to that, I just have to share a LO I did last night.  Had a couple of pictures from Grand Cayman to scrap for the cruise book I’m working on and I started just placing stuff on a page without a real plan.  Despite that, I’m happy with how it turned out. 

And now, on to what you’re really here for… the freebie quick page.  First, let me tell you a bit about a new store that’s coming called Benevolent Boutique (BB).  This will be a different kind of scrap store because the kits sold in this store are created specifically to raise money for charity.  So when you shop there, you’re not only getting great stuff, you’re helping other folks out.  The store isn’t open yet, but you can download this wonderful “Jack” kit for only $5.99 and the proceeds to the Make a Wish Foundation.

Now when I saw the four or five elements that I previewed from this kit as part of the By God’s Design creative team I guess I had graduation on the brain becuase this is what I came up with (and yes, I finally got to it… this is the freebie).

Happy Memorial Day to everyone.  This holiday means a lot to me, and even more as I grow older and more patriotic.  Although I’ve been fortunate enough not to know anyone that has been lost in service to our country, I fully recognize that freedom isn’t free.  While I do make sure I take full advantage of the holiday from work and will probably enjoy something grilled as well and time with friends and family, I wanted to take a few minutes working on a layout for a quickpage that would honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to ensure that we can hang out with friends and family and do what we will.  Thank you to everyone that has paid this price to protect our freedom over the years.

And in getting ready for summer camp season, I’ve been working on a new Summer Camp kit.  And since I noticed it has been a while since I offered a freebie, I’m offering two today.  The first is the quick page pictured below.  The second freebie is the Gods Eye/Craft Stick frame featured in the quick page.  I hope to have the Summer Camp kit finished in a few days, but I’m still looking for a store from which to offer my designs.  If you know of a store that’s looking for designers, please let me know.  And in any case, enjoy the freebies.
