There are as many reasons for scrapbooks and scrapbook pages as there are people and memories in your life. Maybe you want to remember the special little moments in your child’s life? Maybe you want to present someone with a perfect anniversary, birthday or retirement present? Maybe you just want a single page, suitable for framing, of a special event in your life or the life of someone special to you.

Scrapbooks are a wonderful way to remember the times of your life. Unlike a simple photo album, a scrapbook can include memorabilia other than the photos and also includes journaling — notes about what was going on at the time or what makes the photo special.

Sometimes you want a whole album. For instance, if someone you know is celebrating a milestone birthday a very nice present would be a scrapbook filled with pictures of that person throughout his life and written memories from the people that are important to him. Or if you’re looking for a unique wedding present, you might consider an album filled with pictures of the bride and groom as they were children, grew up, started seeing each other, etc. However, sometimes you want just a single page. These can be wonderful to frame for your child’s baptism, confirmation, etc. Or, you might consider our “As They Grow” plan which provides you with a certain number of pages each month. With this plan you can have the joy of watching your scrapbook grow and looking back over the memories with no effort on your part.

The following examples are provided of our work. As you can see, we can easily provide a layout that matches the mood of the photos and your own personal style.

How It Works

Although our prices are presented in cost per page for your convenience, what we actually produce are tangible reproductions of your memories of a particular event or time in your life. Because we’re reproducing your memories, the first and most important thing we do is consult with you about your memories and feelings about your story and how your pictures tell this story. During the initial consultation we’ll discuss things like which pictures tell the same part of the story and should go on the same page. We’ll talk about what you like best about those particular pictures, who’s in them, your feelings about them and the story they tell, etc Then we find out a bit about your tastes so we can design pages that tell your story and fit your personality. Some people are more “photobook” oriented where the pictures are presented with little embellishment and some are more “scrapbook” oriented and love lace and ribbon and lots of embellishment.

After our meeting we scan your photos (if necessary) and start creating your pages. After the first few pages are completed we send you emailed pictures of the pages so we can see if we’re on track with your expectations. Once the album is completed you will receive a CD with all of your pages on it. You may then provide the pictures to the print house of your choice to have them turned into scrapbook pages or a photobook. Of course, we can also help with getting the photos printed, if you wish. Or you may decide to go with one of our digital photobook plans where we turn your pages into a DVD with music.
